"In the beginning"... God said, “Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth (Gen. 1:26)."
Call me St. Francis of aSissy, but I think our dominion over animals is sad. I have personally seen such pink babies in feed bins. My brothers would always try to pour gasoline on them, while I was the one trying to rescue them.
I do see that Rob is making your patio quite beautiful with his green thumb. One kills blind newborn baby mice... and one grows beautiful flowers!
Yeah, but I bet they'll fry up real good!
There are too many vermin in the world and not nearly enough beauty. Plant more flowers and kill more rats.
Mouses in the attic, in the garage, mouses under the bird feeder, next they're in your kitchen, bedroom. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKsAmightyNo
WayMan.
Well, problem solved: box 'em up and send 'em to Brett.
If you grind up the ratlings, the resultant slurry makes great protein-rich fertilizer. Best for roses, apple and pear trees. Ground up adult rats (with more bone structure - i.e. calcium) is better for annuals like daisies, echinacea and black-eyed susans.
Holy shit, I almost threw up. I am not rodent friendly by any means. UGH, I just shuddered. That should have been an after the jump thing. I once sold a house b/c it had rodent issues. The damn thing leapt out of the cabinet at my bf who tried to kill it with my swiffer. We broke up, who saw that one coming? hehe
As Valerie Cherish would say, "I don't want to see that!"
Actually they look like baby aardvarks to me.
You need a dog...get a terrier breed or a beagle. Either way no mice or rats...of course a few of the neighborhood squirrels and rabbits will go missing too. The doggies are very cute but they're kind of bloodthirsty.
You could grind 'em up for fertilizer...
I wish I could unsee that.
Awwwwwww! Pinkies!!!!
Any of your local garden snakes will make a quick meal of these.
